Hulu is celebrating National Streaming Day with a 75% discount on its ad-supported plan for new and returning customers, but you've only got a week to take advantage of the deal before it's gone.
Normally priced at $8 per month, right now you can sign up for only $2 a month for the next three months if you're a new user or someone who had Hulu in the past and unsubscribed more than a month ago--which probably covers just about everyone who doesn't currently have Hulu.
Hulu's ad-supported plan gets you access to a ton of new originals--like The Handmaid's Tale and Class of '09 series, and last year's excellent Predator sequel, Prey--along with a robust catalog of older series like The X-Files, Lost, and 24. And not to mention FX's generally excellent original series, which all call Hulu their streaming home. Oh, and let's not forget the new revival of Futurama that will land on the service this summer.
While it may not be the biggest name in TV streaming the way it used to be, Hulu's shelves are still regularly being stocked with quality new content to go with its massive library of past shows and movies.
This deal is a limited-time affair, starting today (May 19) and ending at 11:59 PM PT on Saturday, May 27. So if you want to lock in this cheap price for a summer of binge-watching, you shouldn't wait too long to take advantage of this sale price.
