What happens if you cross Genshin Impact, the action RPG that's said to bring in over $1 billion(Opens in a new window) in revenue every six months, with the aesthetic of a game like The World Ends with You? It seems like we're about to find out with the help of a new title called Zenless Zone Zero.
Zenless Zone Zero(Opens in a new window) is the latest game from Genshin Impact developer Miyoho, which recently published a debut trailer focused more on showcasing the upcoming title's style than revealing how the game is going to play or how similar it's going to be to its nigh-ubiquitous predecessor.
But it doesn't seem like curious gamers will have to wait long to learn more about Miyoho's followup to Genshin Impact. The company is currently accepting sign-ups for what it calls the Zenless Zone Zero Tuning Test, which will offer players access to an early version of the game.
"This beta test is Zenless Zone Zero's first small-scale test called the Tuning Test," Miyoho says(Opens in a new window). "Zenless Zone Zero is still in the development stage, and as such, content found in the beta test does not represent the final quality. Thank you for your support and understanding."
Miyoho says(Opens in a new window) the Zenless Zone Zero Tuning Test will be available on PC and iOS. It wouldn't be a surprise if the game makes it to other platforms later—Genshin Impact is available on PC, iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 and is expected to reach the Nintendo Switch as well.
