Genshin Impact 2.5 livestream has officially announced a new region named Chasm for update 2.6. Chasm will not be a new main region, but it will still take up a big portion of the map, similar to the Dragonspine mountains that were released back in update 1.2. There is no official information about the rewards that will be given out by submitting Lumenspar but most players are hoping for a much-needed stamina increase as it was the case for the first two regions Mondstadt and Liyue.
The number of Oculi that will be spread over Chasm is still unknown, but they will most likely have to be submitted to a new Statue of The Seven. According to multiple leaks, the new region will be divided into two different parts, the underground mines, and the aboveground terrain. In terms of height, the mines will be the lowest point of Teyvat, much deeper than the popular Genshin Impact region
