Genshin Impact Fans Notice Interesting Connection Between Archons and Slimes

A Genshin Impact player has pointed out an interesting detail about the four currently revealed Archons and a group of enemies known as slimes. The world of Teyvat has seven different major regions, each of which has sites respective God known as an Archon, whose main job is to protect the nation.

So far Genshin Impact has introduced only four Archons: Mondstadt's Venti, Liyue's Zhongli, Inazuma's Raiden Shogun, and the most recently added Sumeru Archon, better known as Lesser Lord Kusanali or Nahida. All of these characters have their Archon Quests which are usually the main quest lines for each of these regions.

Slimes are Elemental Lifeforms created from condensed elemental energy and they are known as one of the most common enemy types in Genshin Impact. Depending on the element they are infused with, the Slimes possess different abilities. Reddit user Redgomotor has shared an interesting post showing the connection between Archons and Slimes. Each different Slime enemy type in the game is apparently in a way similar to an Archon that shares the same element. For example, the post has pointed out that the Anemo Slime has the ability to fly, similar to the Anemo Archon Venti who can ride his own wind currents with the help of his Elemental Skill, Skyward Sonnet.

Venti was also one of the first playable units to join the roster back in update 1.0. Despite being one of the oldest characters in the game, he is still considered an S-tier support in Genshin Impact.
