The Genshin Impact 2.8 livestream will be happening soon, showing off what kind of new content and playable characters fans can expect before Sumeru arrives in Version 3.0. Although HoYoverse hasn't officially confirmed most of what's coming in the new update, numerous leaks and rumors have already pointed at what players can expect to see in the Genshin Impact 2.8 Special Program broadcast. Typically, HoYoverse has livestreams about a week and a half before an update actually launches. These livestreams have almost always happened on Fridays. And since HoYoverse has already confirmed the release date for Genshin Impact 2.8, it's fairly easy to predict when the Special Program livestream will occur. Because the update is happening on July 13, this means the Genshin Impact 2.8 livestream should air on Friday, July 1, 2o22.
