Another huge, complex mod has come to Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord, this time introducing several elements from Game of Thrones. Taleworlds Entertainment's medieval fantasy life simulator series has seen a number of interesting mods over the years. Many fans even consider the multitudinous Mount and Blade mods to be a core element of the franchise.
Mount and Blade II sets players in the fictional land of Calradia and lets them shape their character as they feel fit. The game takes a more gritty, mature approach to its fantasy world than many other RPGs, focusing on strategic, large-scale combat encounters and world-building quest lines. Once stepping into the world of Mount and Blade II, players can forge their own path, taking the route of a beloved champion, crafty scoundrel, or hired mercenary. This freedom of choice that many fans consider to be one of the biggest draws of the game and the franchise as a whole. The political sphere of Calradia also plays a large part in the game, with Mount and Blade II's many factions impacting the role-playing experience.
