HBO Max has shared the perfect response to all those reports about a Game of Thrones sequel series following Kit Harrington's Jon Snow. Based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, Game of Thrones aired on HBO from 2011 to 2019. Throughout the game-changing series' eight seasons, Harrington played Ned Stark's (supposed) bastard son Jon Snow, who went on to become Lord Commander of the Night's Watch and King of the North. After an abandoned prophecy and the revelation that Jon's real name was Aegon Targaryen, Jon was banished from Westeros for killing Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones' finale. The series' final shot saw Jon and Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) riding north beyond the Wall with the Wildings.
Following Game of Thrones' incredibly divisive final season, several prequels have been announced and are in development at HBO. These shows include the working-titled Tales of Dunk and Egg, 9 Voyages, Flea Bottom, 10,000 ships, and, of course, this year's House of the Dragon—most of which are loosely based on work already written by Martin. Recently, news broke that HBO was developing its first potential Game of Thrones sequel series about Jon Snow, with Harrington attached to reprise his role. Now, HBO Max has responded in kind.

The official Twitter account for HBO Max recently shared a picture of Harrington's character for season 1. The post was accompanied by a reference to the iconic line frequently uttered by Rose Leslie's Ygritte (before and after Olly put an arrow through her), "You know nothing Jon Snow." Naturally, HBO is here to say, "I know nothing." Check it out below:
