Marvel's original Punisher was actually created by Galactus, long before Frank Castle appeared in Spider-Man comics of the 1970s. It might seem odd that the Devourer of Worlds would even bother to create a lowly human being with no superpowers like Frank Castle, considering that humans are beneath Galactus' notice. But in the legendary Galactus Trilogy of Fantastic Four fame, the original Punisher made his grand debut in a fight against the Fantastic Four — and he looked ridiculous.
