The Twitch streaming service is home to some of the biggest gaming streamers and online entertainers. A recent report showed that some streamers are earning thousands of dollars an hour in games like Minecraft and Fortnite. But for every wildly successful Twitch personality like Shroud, there are many budding streamers who struggle to get a single viewer to join them on their livestream. Perhaps that’s why one Twitter user created a bot to support Twitch streams that nobody is watching.
Developed by 17-year-old Vardhan Mahajan, the NoOneWatching Twitter bot operates on the @no_viewers account. According to the account description, its mission is to find streams that have zero viewers, to help people find new content and “make someone’s day.” The bot then posts a tweet out about the stream. The current version of the project was launched on the 13th of February, but it appears to have hundreds of followers already. There's no saying whether anyone will take notice of this bot in practice, but Mahajan's project is a very wholesome idea that is bound to be a nice surprise for small streamers who are just starting out.

The streaming industry has continued to grow, and is increasingly attracting gamers and budding streamers who aspire to join the ranks of their favorite Twitch entertainers like Ninja and Tfue.
