New PlayStation Plus free monthly games are available from October 4 and their file sizes have just been revealed. PS Plus members across all three tiers get free games every month at no extra cost. Users who add these games to their account can access them while their subscription lasts, so they won’t stop working after they leave the service the following month.
Sony will add three games in just a few days that cover a variety of genres. PS Plus members in October can play and download Hot Wheels Unleashed, Injustice 2, and Superhot. Out of the three, Hot Wheels Unleashed is available as a native PS5 app but all three offer PS4 versions for fans without a current-gen Sony console. Now, fans have a better idea about how much space each game requires.

PlayStation Game Size on Twitter reveals that the PS5 version of Hot Wheels Unleashed will need 24.071 GB of storage space as compared to 29.578 GB for its PS4 counterpart. Injustice 2 requires 34.840 GB and Superhot only needs 3.511 GB of space. In total, a PS5 owner will need just 62.422 GB of storage to download all three of October’s PS Plus free monthly games, which is less than many AAA games released these days.
The same Twitter account releases the file sizes of various PS Plus games and new titles coming to Sony consoles. Last month, PlayStation Game Size revealed the size requirements for all the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for September 2022, and fans can expect the same a few days before October’s lineup launches.
It also reported the file size for God of War Ragnarok, confirming that its PS4 version will take 90.6 GB of space. The size of the PS5 version is currently unknown, but it’ll probably get revealed before
