Sony has announced the new games PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to in October if they're signed up for the PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers. Sony has started to establish a pattern when it comes to the pricier PlayStation Plus tiers, announcing the monthly free games at end of the previous month and revealing the new PS Plus Extra and Premium additions in the middle of the month.
For October 2022, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers have quite a lot of games to look forward to, with 16 games coming to the PS Plus Extra tier and another seven being added for PS Plus Premium subscribers to check out.

Starting Tuesday, October 18, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will be able to check out the new games for October 2022. On the PS Plus Extra side (PS Plus Premium also gets access to all the PS Plus Extra games), subscribers can look forward to a whopping six Assassin's Creed games in the form of Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate. It was noted by PlayStation that the Chronicles trilogy and Syndicate will only be available on PS4 for unknown reasons.
AC fans have a lot to look forward to when it comes to the new PS Plus Extra games for October 2022, but so too do Dragon Quest fans. They'll be able to check out Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age, Dragon Quest Builders, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Dragon Quest Heroes: The World's Tree Woe and the Blight Below, and Dragon Quest Heroes 2: Explorer's Edition.
