Forza Horizon 5 Unveils 4 New Cars

Forza Horizon 5's developer, Playground Games, has been hard at work producing post-launch content for the game to keep its players busy. With the game's major Update 4 set to come out shortly, the developer has now revealed its celebration of the Year of the Tiger, featuring a number of Chinese-manufactured cars and a full-fledged Mandarin Chinese voice-over.

Since Forza Horizon 5 has continued the seasonal progression model of its predecessor, this system of granular content releases has allowed Playground Games to carefully curate what content comes out when. With that in mind, Season 4 will see the introduction of some cars players have never seen before in a Forza game, and which have all been sourced from Chinese manufacturers.

There are four specific Chinese cars being added: MG XPower SV-R (2005), Wuling Hongguang S (2013), MG MG3 (2015), and NIO EP9 (2016). While most of these cars will be available as seasonal unlocks as Season 4 progresses, it's worth pointing out that the MG XPower SV-R will be exclusive for Car Pass owners, and will be coming out on February 10th. On top of these cars being entirely new to Forza, players also may be interested in seeing more budget vehicles in Forza Horizon 5, which should help shake up the low-end racing meta.

The addition of two MG vehicles is also interesting. Namely, the popular British car manufacturer has been owned by the Chinese automaker Nanjing Automobile since 2005, making its vehicles a prime addition as part of Forza Horizon 5's Chinese-themed Season 4.
