Forza Horizon 5’s latest patch has added a new event, fixed a bunch of bugs, and added Hot Wheels-themed cosmetics and cars ahead of the July expansion which will add all those twisty orange tracks.
The patch, which released yesterday, clocks in at a hefty 16 GB on Xbox Series X|S and 12 GB on Xbox One. The patch notes are a lot shorter than what you’d think 16 GB would contain, so it’s safe to assume that this update also included some preparatory code for the Hot Wheels expansion in addition to the new cosmetics and cars.

Multiplayer has been improved in Forza Horizon 5 with a bug affecting 12-player convoys squashed and a new option for Horizon Stories mode to be played cooperatively with up to six players. There’s a new Forza EV Monthly Rivals event, and localization in several new languages, including subtitles in Danish, Greek, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, and European Portuguese, as well as voice-overs in European Spanish, Italian, and Korean.
For PC users, Horizon 5 now supports Temporal anti-aliasing (TAA) on top of the Multisampling anti-aliasing (MSAA) it already supported. This should improve visuals on PC for high-end machines.
In freeroam mode, the Ferrari California T and McLaren 650 S Spider can now drop their tops thanks to additional convertible functionality. Several other car fixes include engine noise fix on the Lamborghini Diablo, interior dash fixes for the Audi RS4 Avant and 2011 RS5, and fixed idle RPMs on the 93 Nissan 240SX SE.
