The wildly popular battle royale game Fortnite has seen plenty of changes since its original launch all the way back in 2017. The free to play title continues to receive updates and new content on a consistent basis to keep fans engaged and coming back time and time again. Each season also introduces a new storyline for players to take part in, typically including themed content, battle pass, and even NPCs to interact with.
While many are humanoid, Fortnite has also included wildlife, monsters, and even sentient cubes such as one that was referred to as «Kevin» by the fans. Back in Chapter 3, Season 1, Fortnite added a dinosaur looking creature called Klombo, which would roam the map that could eat items fed to it by players like a Klomberry to receive something in return. At the time, these creatures were unkillable, though attacking one caused it to fly into a rage for 30 seconds. Based on the latest leak, Klombos appear primed to return, though this time, Epic may have different ideas for how to utilize them.
Fortnite Adds Moon Knight Skin
According to prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX, Epic is not only bringing back Klombos in an upcoming season, but players will now be able to take them out during matches. Based on some information they found, Klombos will be able to drop 15 different types of loot ranging from ammo, materials, consumables, and possibly even weapons. It's unknown if these new Klombos are generally hostile towards players, or if they'll continue to roam around until they're attacked first.
