Coachella, the annual music festival that takes place in Indio California, is making its triumphant return after two years of pandemic cancellations. And to get the word out (and perhaps even expand its audience), Coachella is partnering with Epic Games to bring the colorful music festival to Fortnite.
From now until May 16, Fortnite players that tune into Icon Radio in their Joyride vehicles will hear music from over 30 artists that will play at Coachella 22. That’s basically a quarter of the musicians, artists, and acts confirmed playing at Coachella this year, and Epic didn’t tell us which ones made the cut, but I’m really hoping to hear The Hu so Fortnite can have some Mongolian throat singing.

But besides invading your ears through Icon Radio, Coachella is also invading the Fortnite Item Shop with some limited-time cosmetics. Starting tonight at 8 PM ET, players will have access to the Rocking at Coachella bundle which includes two new outfits and a full suite of accessories. The Wilder outfit is your typical Californian in a white tank top and a baseball cap and also includes the Shark-themed Finfin Back Bling. The Neon Biter Pickaxe and Finfin Flair Wrap are also part of the bundle, as is the Cosmic Equalizer alt Style which gives the outfit an ethereal haze that moves to the beat of the music.
The Lyric outfit comes with the Swaguaro Back Bling, while the bundle adds the Festival Shredder Pickaxe and the Cosmic Equalizer alt Style. Just as with the Wilder alt Style, both the Cosmic Equalizer and Shredder Pickaxe are reactive to music.
Then on April 21 at 8 PM, the Dancing at Coachella bungle arrives with two more outfits. The Alto outfit includes the Sonic Vibes Back
