Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 5’s release date might be closer than you think – and Season 4 hasn’t even started yet.
With Season 3 ending in less than two weeks, Fortnite fans are already eager to know more about future seasons and what they might hold.
Developer Epic Games hasn’t revealed the start date for Season 4 yet, although September 18 seems likely – a day after the current season’s Battle Pass ends.
The current season has involved a lot of Marvel characters, but Season 4’s theme still remains a mystery.
Other than recent leaks revealing another Marvel superhero skin and a Jiggle Jiggle emote, there’s not much else we know about Season 4.
However, we may already know the start date of Season 5, which is now rumoured to be scheduled for December 5.
Serial leaker Tom Henderson, who accurately predicted Starfire coming to the item shop, is behind the rumour and although he doesn’t say anything else it seems pretty obvious the season will have a Christmas theme.
Henderson is best known for his leaks surrounding Call Of Duty and Battlefield and while he doesn’t often comment on Fortnite he’s widely regarded as a reliable source.
If Henderson’s prediction is correct, then Season 5 will also host Winterfest in Fortnite, with no doubt a ton of new Christmas themed skins and items.
Last year Chapter 3 Season 1 debuted on the same date and in 2020 Chapter 2 Season 5 went live on December 2. Since last year was the start of a new chapter the whole Christmas theme got a bit lost in the shuffle, so Epic may go a bit heavier on it this time round.
However, let’s not get ahead of ourselves just yet, as Fortnite’s last patch update for Season 3 just brought a whole lot of new content to enjoy for its few remaining days.
