Fortnite has crossed over with dozens of games, movies, shows, and more over the past several years. Whether it'sGod of War,Halo, League of Legends, Street Fighter, Assassin's Creed, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, or Borderlands, if there's a major game franchise then Fortnite wants a crossover with it. There's one virally successful game that Fortnite fans have been demanding a crossover with for some time now that hasn't happened yet, though. That appears to be changing soon, though. Among Us will be coming to Fortnite.
The latest weekly update for Fortnite has brought with it a variety of new files for dataminers to dig through. Within those files is confirmation that Epic Games will soon be releasing Among Us cosmetics for its battle royale. In fact, it's available now. Two specific cosmetics have been revealed, including a Crewmate backpack and the Distraction Dance emote. While it may not be as robust of an Among Us collaboration with Fortnite as some fans may have wanted, it's better than nothing.
Rumor: Fortnite Could Be Adding a First-Person Mode
While some may have hoped that anAmong Us collaboration would be included with the seasonal Fortnite battle pass, that doesn't appear to be the case. The Among Us cosmetics don't appear to be traditional premium cosmetics either, however, though they will come at a premium. To unlock the Among Us cosmetics, Fortnite players will have to make an "Among Us eligible purchase" through the Epic Games Store.
