First The Last of Us Footage Shows Live-Action Joel and Ellie
comingsoon.netHBO Max has released a brand new promo teaser for its highly-anticipated shows which are set to return and make their debut soon. One of the shows featured in the HBO Max promo is HBO’s upcoming horror survival drama, based on Naughty Dog’s popular video game series of the same name. footage unveils our first official look at Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey’s respectively portrayal of Joel and Ellie. It is currently expected to premiere in 2023.
In addition to the long-awaited zombie drama, HBO Max also teased the arrival of,,,,, and more.

series will tackle the events of the first game with the possibility of additional content based on the sequel. It is set to be led by alums Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie.
“The live-action series takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed,” reads the synopsis. “Joel and Ellie, a pair connected through the harshness of the world they live in, are forced to endure brutal circumstances and ruthless killers on a trek across a post-pandemic America.”
Joining Pascal and Ramsey are Gabriel Luna () as Tommy Miller, Nico Parker () as Joel’s daughter Sarah, Anna Torv () as Tess, and Merle Dandridge () as she reprises her role from the video games as Marlene, the leader of a resistance group known as the Fireflies. It also features Jeffrey Pierce () as Perry, Murray Bartlett () as Frank, Con O’Neill () as Bill, and Storm Reid () as Riley.
