The first story details for Succession season 4 have been released as filming gets underway. The HBO original series began in 2018 and follows the Roy family, the owners of the media company Waystar Royco. As family patriarch Logan's health begins to decline, his four children begin vying to take controlling pieces of the company. Succession debuted to immense success, with the first two seasons alone garnering 23 Emmy nominations and 9 wins, including Outstanding Drama Series.Succession season 3 ended with a dramatic finale that saw siblings Kendall, Shiv, and Roman bested by Logan yet again. What's worse, the betrayal originated from Shiv's husband Tom, setting the stage for an even more contentious season 4.
HBO confirms that filming on Succession season 4 has begun. Additionally, the network offered up the first plot details for the upcoming episodes while confirming that the entire main cast will be back. Season 4 will be ten episodes long, and it remains to be seen exactly when audiences can expect to see it on their screens. The synopsis reads:
