A new Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis trailer was shared today, providing new information on the mobile remake of the entire Final Fantasy VII saga.
The new trailer, which was shared during today's Summer Game Fest show, provides a quick look at the remake, whose visuals feature an interesting combination between the more realistic approach of the Final Fantasy VII Remake and the art style of the original PlayStation game. Some new screenshots have also been shared via the game's official website.
Starting today, it is also possible to pre-register for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis to be notified when the game will be available for download. Depending on how many users will pre-register, those that will get a variety of items such as Draw Tickets, in-game currency, an exclusive Zweihander weapon, and more. Square Enix also confirmed that a closed beta test will be held in the United States from today until June 28th, giving some lucky players the chance to try out the game before release.
Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis will release on a yet-to-be-confirmed release date on iOS and Android. With beta testing having started, it likely won't take long for this new remake of one of the most popular role-playing games ever made.
