Easter is approaching, and developers of live service games have already prepared many ways to keep their players engaged while celebrating. Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier is no exception, as Square Enix has recently launched a special egg hunt event in celebration of Easter.
For those unfamiliar, Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier is a free-to-play battle royale game that is currently available for Android and iOS devices. Being a part of the Final Fantasy franchise, the game is loaded with quirks, with cute Chocobos as an additional mode of transportation instead of just the usual selection of utility vehicles and motorcycles. Interestingly, these Chocobos also play a crucial role in the latest Egg Hunter event.

As explained in a news post detailing the event, players can find special hidden items just by riding on a Chocobo. However, players must also keep aware as there is a possibility for special monsters to spawn instead when they are trying to collect the item. Thankfully, when defeated, these monsters are guaranteed to drop multiple items, such as Grangalan summon materia and Cactuar materia, which all can be used for special effects like other materia in Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier.
During the event, players may also discover special, event-exclusive Chocobos. Players do not need to worry about space, as the maximum number of stalls in the Chocobo farm has been increased to 14. Daily login bonuses are also available as expected, and players are welcome to participate in special challenges in order to earn emotes, skins, and many more limited-time items.
