On Thursday, Square Enix held its Final Fantasy 7 25th Anniversary Celebration event. The event was packed full of Final Fantasy 7-related announcements, including the reveal ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth, a Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 remaster, and more. To start off the event, however, Square Enix had a special announcement just for Steam PC gamers. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, the complete version of Square Enix's reboot of Final Fantasy 7, is leaving Epic Games Store exclusivity and coming to Steam.
The confirmation of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade for Steam was only half of Square Enix's announcement, though. It seems Steam gamers won't have to wait long for the game. In fact, they won't have to wait at all. The other half of the announcement was the confirmation that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is coming to Steam tomorrow. It's not quite a shadow drop, but Steam gamers likely won't mind waiting a final 8 hours.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Project is Officially a Trilogy
One other key confirmation that Square Enix went out of its way to make during itsFinal Fantasy 725th Anniversary Celebration revolves around Valve's new handheld PC platform, the Steam Deck. Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade has been Steam Deck verified for its launch. Steam Deck users will be able to playFinal Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade as soon as it's available to download.
As many PC fans of Final Fantasy 7 already know, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade has been available on PC through the Epic Games Store for several months now.
