Final Fantasy 16 Introduces New Character Following Gameplay Reveal
One of Final Fantasy 16's mighty warriors, Benedikta Harman, Dominant of Eikon Garuda, Warden of the Wind, has been introduced, providing some key insight into the game's epic storyline. The latest game in the Final Fantasy franchise revealed a brand new trailer at yesterday's PlayStation State of Play showcase. Dynamic gameplay was shown in action, followed by gorgeous cutscenes starring the game's many Eikons. Eikons refer to the extravagant beings otherwise referred to as Summons in previous Final Fantasy games. While the trailer did reveal lots of stunning imagery, much of the game's lore remains a mystery.
Soon after FF16 was officially announced during the 2020 PlayStation 5 showcase, Square Enix launched the official FF16 website. The website revealed some exciting details about the game's world and how some of its power dynamics will work. Throughout the game's world, powerful primal creatures are known as Eikons. They grant warriors the ability to transform into said creatures. Once a warrior is given this power, they are bestowed the title of Dominant. While many of the Eikons will be familiar to fans of the franchise, one of the game's Dominants has now been officially revealed.

The Dominant who controls the power of Final Fantasy 16's Eikon Garuda, Warden of the Wind, has been revealed, and her name is Benedikta Harman. Posted on the Final Fantasy XVI Twitter account, fans can see the character's design with a small taste of her dynamic background.
