After delays due to equipment shortage,Final Fantasy 14 is finally ready to roll out its new North American Logical Data Center. Titled Dynamis, the new Final Fantasy 14 Data Center will be going live on November 1.
The new Logical Data Center is the first phase of a two-part plan forFinal Fantasy 14 to expand its service for its North American player base. While the first phase was originally planned to take place in August, a shortage of equipment forced Final Fantasy 14 to push its launch back until November.
Final Fantasy 14 To Add New Emote, Rewards in Patch 6.25
The new Dynamis Logical Data Center currently has four Worlds associated with it: Halicarnassus, Maduin, Marilith, and Seraph. The second phase of the North American server expansion plan will add four more Worlds to Dynamis, and is planned to take place in spring or summer of 2023. Players interested in creating characters on the new Final Fantasy 14 Data Center get a bevy of excellent rewards, including a double EXP bonus, silver chocobo feathers, a million gil, and 15 days of free play time. If characters transfer existing characters, they can do so for free, and get gold chocobo feathers, double EXP, and reimbursement for personal housing or apartments.
2022 has been a good year for Data Center expansion in Final Fantasy 14. It launched the Oceania Physical Data Center in January, and new European and Japanese Logical Data Centers in July. It also implemented the long-awaited Data Center Travel system into Final Fantasy 14 during the same patch, allowing players to visit other Worlds on the same Physical Data Centers.
