Endwalker – the fourth expansion pack of Final Fantasy 14 – launched in December of last year to critical and popular acclaim, but it wasn't a global launch. Unlike the international version of the game, the Chinese and Korean versions of Final Fantasy 14 are licensed to local companies who not only maintain the regional servers, but also carry out the task of localization, dubbing, and even commissioning unique in-game items such as the Chinese-exclusive Lotus mount.
To prepare for the launch of Endwalker, Square Enix gathered talented artists from the Final Fantasy 14 community in Korea to submit their art to be showcased through a daily countdown on the game's official Korean Twitter account. The expansion launched on May 10th, featuring 14 pieces of artwork in various styles handpicked by Square Enix's social media team.

A Reddit user named MKillerby was kind enough to gather the images from Twitter and share them with the rest of the Final Fantasy 14 community. Featuring Gaia and Ryne enjoying their tea next to a certain shoebill, to the Scions of the Seventh Dawn walking alongside the spirits of the Warriors of Light from the First Reflection, to the new jobs of Endwalker in Reaper and Sage, to the new locations in Sharlayan and Mare Lamentorum – the excitement for Korean players to finally enter the new expansion while saying farewell to Shadowbringers is plain to see.
