Vivo has officially launched a new edition to its Y33 series - Vivo Y33e 5G in China. The handset has come as a variant of the Vivo Y33s 5G and the Y33T launched earlier this year. The new Vivo Y33e 5G has been launched as an affordable handset under the sub 15K range. It is powered by a 5G-enabled MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood. The device comes with a durable battery, the latest iteration of Android, and a dual primary camera module on the back. As of now, the company hasn't provided global launch details of the new Vivo Y series edition.

The Vivo Y33e 5G is expected to be available for sale in June 2022. This smartphone is priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 15,000) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. The phone will arrive in Flourite Black and Magic Blue color options.
This Vivo Y33e 5G features a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a screen-to-body ratio of 88.99 percent. Under the hood, it packs a 5G enabled octa-core Dimensity 700 SoC paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. The device boots Android 12 out of the box with an Origin Ocean OS skin on top.
For photography, it packs a dual rear camera setup of 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone also has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture housed in a water drop-style notch on the front.
