Recently, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker fans were given a small look at the new Alliance Raid, Myths of the Realm. 24 players will group together to battle through the domain of the gods. As previously announced, the new Alliance Raid's story will heavily involve the mysterious deities known as The Twelve. Based on the brief footage released, the designs of the gods, and their realm, seem to take inspiration from Greek Mythology.
Myths of the Realm will arrive with the release of FFXIV: Endwalker Patch 6.1. Like most Raids in the game, the duty will be split into multiple sections. Level 90 adventurers will be able to challenge Part 1, titled Aglaia, on April 12, 2022. Players have accomplished great feats throughout their journey, but this new Raid looks to pit Warriors of Light against some truly powerful foes. Part 1 of Myths of the Realm appears to take place in a marble tower above the clouds. A parallel can be made to the Greek gods that lived above humanity on top of Mount Olympus. However, this is not the only comparison between The Twelve and Ancient Greek culture that can be made by fans.

In a Live Letter streamed on the official Final Fantasy XIV YouTube channel on April 1, 2022, Game Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida showcased the beginning area of the new content. The zone was bright and filled with beautiful white marble structures, contrary to the dark setting of FFXIV: Endwalker's Pandaemonium Raid. Part 1 of Myths of the Realm was also decorated with multiple columns and archways. These designs appeared to be a mix of Final Fantasy and Ancient Greek architecture.
