A new Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade trademark has been filed by Square Enix in Japan, which may hint that a new port of the game is in development. FF7 Remake Intergrade launched on PS5 in June 2021, with a PC port arriving on the Epic Games Store in December of the same year.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergade is an enhanced port of FF7 Remake, which included a number of graphical and performance issues. The biggest addition to the game was the INTERmission DLC, which added two new chapters featuring Yuffie from FF7, as she infiltrates the city of Midgar during the events of the story. The original version of FF7 Remake was a timed exclusive on PS4, while FF7 Remake Intergrade was a timed exclusive on PS5.

It has already been promised by Square Enix that FF7 Remake news will arrive in June, and fans are hoping for an announcement regarding the sequel to the game. However, it's possible that Square Enix isn't done with the first game just yet. According to Chizai Watch (as spotted by Gematsu), Square Enix has filed a trademark for the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade name in Japan. The trademark was revealed on May 20 in Japan and it was filed on May 12. It's likely that the trademark was filed in anticipation of the June announcement.
It's possible that FF7 Remake Intergrade could arrive on other consoles soon, as the original PS5 version of Intergrade launched on June 10, 2021, so a one-year exclusivity deal would be ending soon. The most likely candidate for this trademark is an FF7 Remake Intergrade Xbox Series S/X port, especially if Microsoft can ensure that it receives a day one launch on Game Pass.
