Remedy Entertainment shared a first look at FBC: Firebreak (codename Condor) their very first multiplayer game that looks to explore the Control universe from a new direction.
FBC: Firebreak is coming to Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025. It’s day one on applicable tiers of Xbox Game Pass. It should also be coming to PS5, based on the old Project Condor announcements, but that was not featured in this reveal.
Expanding on the Remedy-verse, FBC: Firebreak takes place within the Federal Bureau of Control and is set after the events of Control, giving teams of three players daring missions to undertake against dark threats to the supernatural institution that is The Oldest House. One important aspect is that Remedy will aim to be mindful of gamers’ time. Puha said, “FBC: Firebreak should be easy to get into and quickly understandable, not feel like a second job or that you have to spend an hour setting up your loadouts etc. before you get into a session. This is not that game. It’s a pick-up-and-play experience [about] having fun with your friends when you have the time. That’s not to say that FBC: Firebreak doesn’t have deep player progression and things to unlock, it does, but this isn’t about logging in
