Sony shares the Blu-ray release date for the Kevin Hart movie Fatherhood. Helmed by Paul Weitz (About a Boy), the film stars Hart as a struggling father attempting to raise his young daughter alone after the tragic death of his wife. Based on Matthew Logelin’s 2011 book Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love, the screenplay was penned by Weitz and City of Angels writer Dana Stevens, with production commencing in 2019 across Quebec and Massachusetts. The film was originally set for a theatrical run before, like many movies that came out around that time, repetitive delays caused by COVID-19 resulted in its Netflix debut on June 18, 2021.
Now, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment reveals that Fatherhood will become available to purchase on Blue-ray on June 14. With a PG-13 rating for some strong language and suggestive material, Fatherhood is also due to become available through digital and DVD on the same date.
