Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of July 17, 2023 to July 23, 2023.
Pikmin 4 for Switch was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 401,853 retail copies sold. It was followed by Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening, which opened at 10,633 sales on Switch and 10,434 sales on PlayStation 4 for an opening week total of 21,067 retail copies sold.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 71,180 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 46,561 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 4,309 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 1,158 units.
