Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for the week of October 7, 2024 to October 13, 2024.
Metaphor: ReFantazio was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 82,827 copies on PlayStation 5 and 25,385 copies on PlayStation 4 for an opening week total of 108,212 retail copies sold.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO for PlayStation 5 followed, moving 63,922 retail copies in its opening week. And then the Silent Hill 2 remake for PlayStation 5 with 29,374 retail copies sold.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 55,082 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 11804 units, the Xbox Series family sold 425 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 29 units.
