There are buckets of missable bosses in Fallen Legion Revenants. This is mostly due to the constant branching narratives and literal life-or-death decision-making you are forced to, well, make, on the regular. Larkin, your former superior, is one such boss. He also just so happens to be one of the harder bosses in the game.

This is because Larkin is annoyed that you murdered him earlier in the game, and naturally, he wants some kind of revenge. This fight can be made slightly easier if you manage to twist his memories during Lucien’s segment, but Larkin remains a pain in the spectral butt regardless of how you fight him.
Larkin is a tremendously powerful mage, who only became more powerful in death. Larkin has the power to command the elements, and bend the earth itself to his will, among other ludicrous abilities. Larkin may have been a spineless Councilman in life, but he is apocalyptically powerful when pushed.

Alongside Larkins's huge array of attacks, is his single optional mechanic. If you manage to convince Larkin that Ivor is bad news, then Lucien will be able to deal periodic BP damage to Larkin. This can be used to initiate a Rushdown attack, as well as interrupt Larkin. Do be aware that this effect is random, and it can happen whilst Larkin has Aegis active. This does not get removed on Stagger, so Larkin can tank an entire Rushdown and take no damage if you get unlucky.
Larkin has no weaknesses, and his damage can target any element. This makes every Exemplar more or less viable, although we do find some to be standouts. Mana can be in short supply during this fight - especially due to the amount of
