Ezra Miller, best known for their roles in The Flash and Fantastic Beast franchises, was confronted by Hawaii police weeks before their arrest. The 29-year old actor has gotten into a new scandal as of March 2022. Earlier this week, reports came out that Miller had been arrested by local police in Hilo, Hawaii, at a karaoke bar. While Miller posted $500 bail and has since been released, the actor was taken in by law enforcement due to disorderly conduct and harassment. Per the initial reports, tension was built up after Miller had yelled «obscenities» at a 23-year-old woman while having also lunged at a 32-year old man that was playing darts.
This public incident comes almost two years after the controversial video surfaced of Miller choking a young woman outside a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. While Miller was never arrested or placed in custody in April 2020, the actor was escorted off the bar's premises. The woman in the video also never pressed any charges against Miller, and nothing came out of that. While the Hilo arrest is the first time since 2020 that Miller has gotten into hot water, it appears this was only the second time Hawaii police got involved with the actor.
