As promised last week, Focus Home Interactive shared two extended gameplay trailers for its upcoming games Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden this afternoon, revealing the most detailed look at both titles yet.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 got nearly nine minutes of new and impressively gory gameplay where Titus and his Ultramarine comrades Chairon and Gadrel slaughtered untold numbers of Tyranids. Unfortunately, the trailer didn't include any new information on the game's release date, which is still very much up in the air. The last official word was Winter 2023, but it's getting a little late without a specific day in mind. Still, the extended gameplay proves the game is in good shape, so even if there is a delay, it'll likely be short.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, the action RPG game in development at DONTNOD, received an even longer extended gameplay trailer of nearly 15 minutes. It's practically the entirety of the quest shown at Gamescom 2023, where protagonists Red mac Raith and Antea find themselves hunting a ghostly beast and then deciding the fate of the twin sisters that brought the curse upon their New England village. While the game builds a lot on Vampyr (the studio's previous action RPG title, also published by Focus Home Interactive) and other DONTNOD games with a strong focus on player choice, the controls, camera, and combat have clearly been inspired by the latest God of War games by Sony Santa Monica.
Unlike Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden does have a launch date. It'll be available on November 7th for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X, where the game is already
