Netflix has released its new original series Boo, Bitch, thoughthe supernatural comedy's future remains uncertain. Starring Lana Condor (Moonshot) as insecure high-school senior Erika Vu, Boo, Bitch takes its main character on a self-discovery journey throughout which she learns the true value of love and friendship. Erika spends nearly the entirety of Boo, Bitch's eight episodes striving to live in the moment after she wakes up after a night out at a party believing an accident left her dead and on the cusp of the afterlife. Her newfound confidence pushes her to pursue her crush, Jake C. However, Erika begins to lose sight of her real friends amid her rise to popularity. Boo, Bitch's conclusion comes across as definitive, but that may not spell the end for the series.
Created and written by Erin Ehrlich, Lauren Iungerich, Tim Schauer, and Kuba Soltysiak, Boo, Bitcharrives on Netflix as one of the platform’s highest-anticipated original series this month. In addition to Condor, the series stars Zoe Colletti as Erika's best friend Gia, Mason Versaw as Jake C., and Aparna Brielle as boldfaced popular girl Riley. Among Boo, Bitch's supporting cast are Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Jami Alix, and Jason Genao.

Boo, Bitch's story ended with Erika learning the truth from Gia that it was the latter lying dead under the moose instead of Erika. Gia made it her responsibility to help Erica spread her wings before leaving her for the afterlife.
