Pre-orders for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight have officially gone live. Finally, players will be able to lock in their purchase for the ninth expansion and unlock some in-game goodies to play with while they wait. It is pretty standard for a World of Warcraft expansion to have multiple editions to choose from, but it can be difficult to decide which one is right. Each edition offers some different items that may just make them worthwhile, but they also drastically increase in price.
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight has four different versions, three of which are digital only. Each edition offers the base expansion and access to a special pre-order pet, but as the cost increases so do the items on offer. While players can gain access to everything coming with Dragonflight through the basic edition, some may want to take the extra leap and unlock all the extra digital goodies.

For $49.99, players gain access to the entire expansion and a brand-new race-class hybrid the Dracthyr. This is the cheapest version of the expansion and has pretty much everything that a player would need, but some may want more out of their purchase.
