The Galaxy Tab S8 series is Samsung's latest attempt to take on the iPad, and one way it hopes to do that is by offering its tablets in an assortment of colors. When it comes to tablets these days, the iPad tends to dominate the entire market. Whether it's the $329 baseline iPad or a maxed-out iPad Pro, there's an iPad for every budget and niche.
But that's not to say other companies aren't making tablets. In fact, Samsung releases just as many (if not more) tablets during any given year. In February 2022, Samsung debuted the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra as its three latest tablet offerings. All three are packed with flagship specs/features and promise to be the perfect iPad antidote folks have been searching for.

Another way Samsung hopes to draw shoppers to the Tab S8 series is with eye-catching colors. For the Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+, specifically, there are three colors to choose from: graphite, silver, and pink gold. That's not the most exhaustive list we've ever seen, but it's still a decent selection for an Android tablet. Graphite is the most basic of the three, standing out as a pretty standard black color. It's dark, subdued, and doesn't attract much attention to itself. Silver isn't too flashy either, though it does stand out a bit more. Not only is the silver finish naturally brighter, but the contrasting black stripe on the back (a magnetic housing for the S Pen) gives it a pleasing dual-tone aesthetic. And, of course, pink gold is the most vibrant of the trio. It's a very muted pink (not unlike the pink iPhone 13), but it looks gorgeous and adds a welcome splash of color to the Tab S8 lineup.
