PlayStation is currently in the process of rolling out an ambitious and brand-new loyalty program known as PlayStation Stars. The new service has understandably piqued the interest of many within the PS fan base, offering a slew of interesting and attractive rewards that can be attained through a points system.
With many PlayStation fans eager to join the Stars loyalty program as it launches in different regions, the service has a wide array of rewards that will be available to unlock from the outset at launch. These rewards are varied and expansive, ranging from virtual collectibles to even unlocking critically-acclaimed titles from the PlayStation catalog, and will be imperative in attracting even more players to the new loyalty system.

As previously mentioned, the new PlayStation Stars service is a loyalty system for PS players to earn rewards via gameplay, with the service being set to make its full global rollout on October 13. The service seems to act similarly to elements of Xbox's Microsoft Rewards program, in which players can also exchange points for things like gift cards and entries for sweepstakes.
Through PlayStation Stars, players can earn points via the completion of campaigns, which can vary massively in time and difficulty. For example, some campaigns can take the form of monthly check-ins where a player only has to launch a game, and the most difficult campaigns concern things like being the first player within a certain timezone to unlock the platinum trophy for a PlayStation title.
