Epic Games has announced plans to increase the price of Fortnite V-Bucks and some real money content packs.
The company said updated pricing will be introduced on October 27 in the Czech Republic, Denmark, Eurozone countries, Hungary, Japan, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States (as well as countries that use the USD in their Fortnite storefronts).
“These adjustments are based on economic factors such as inflation and currency fluctuations, and follow similar pricing alignments recently completed in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Mexico,” Epic said.

Epic said Fortnite Crew subscription pricing won’t be impacted by these changes.
An influential former Marvel executive, who also helped design God of War’s iconic protagonist Kratos, was this month appointed as Epic Games’ new chief creative officer.
Charlie Wen took on the role previously held by Donald Mustard, one of the driving forces behind the hugely successful Fortnite, who will be leaving Epic this month after almost 25 years with the company.
