Epic Games Store users can look forward to the platform's upcoming Spring sale, of which many of its heavy hitters have been leaked online. As one of the most prominent PC storefronts next to the likes of Steam and GOG, the Epic Games Store is known to host several big sale events throughout the calendar year, including one during each season and a Mega sale each May.
Over the Holidays, the Epic Games Store hosted an incredible giveaway where it offered users 17 games to claim for free over the course of several weeks. The titles ran the gamut from indies like Cursed to Golf and Art of Rally, to beloved sci-fi RPGs like Fallout 3 and The Outer Worlds. Ghostwire: Tokyo, A Plague Tale: Innocence, and Marvel's acclaimed 2021 Guardians of the Galaxy game were included in the Epic giveaway as well.
While Epic's Spring sale likely won't be giving a collection of titles away for free, it's still an event for gamers to look out for, and according to Dealabs Magazine, many of its highest profile games have just been leaked online. Headlining the sale is one of the industry's largest publishers, Ubisoft. Three of its most recent releases are allegedly set to receive major discounts. Ubisoft's open-world adventure shooter Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which released in the final weeks of 2023 and was the publisher's first-ever $70 game, will be available for just $42. The publisher's impeccable 2D action platformer, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, will be chopped to $30. Additionally, Ubisoft's most recent release, Skull and Bones, will drop to $45 as part of Epic's upcoming sale.
Some of 2023's best games will be discounted during the sale as well, including last year's bestseller Hogwarts Legacyfor $30, Respawn Entertainment's critically acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for $31, and Remedy Entertainment's long awaited, Game of the Year-nominated sequel, Alan Wake 2, for $40.
