It's been an exciting week for Epic Games Store users. Earlier this week, the Epic Games Store announced that users would be getting three free games instead of the usual two, and now those three games are all available to claim. Not only that, but the Epic Games Store has also clued fans in on the two games that they will get to add to their digital libraries starting next week, July 7.
From now until July 7, Epic Games Store users are able to claim Geneforge 1: Mutagen, Hood: Outlaws & Legends, and Iratus: Lord of the Dead for their digital libraries. Geneforge 1 is a fantasy RPG, whereas Hood: Outlaws & Legends is an online multiplayer game with a medieval-focus. Hood: Outlaws & Legends was the surprise bonus free game this week, and it is arguably the highest profile free game available right now.
Epic Games Store Update Adds New Features
Besides Geneforge 1: Mutagen and Hood: Outlaws & Legends, Epic Games Store users are also able to claim Iratus: Lord of the Dead. Iratus: Lord of the Dead is a tactical RPG that first released in 2020, but just made its way to the Epic Games Store this past May.
Epic Games Store users have until July 7 to add the aforementioned three games to their collection, and then on July 7 at 10:00am CT, they will have two more games to claim. The Epic Games Store free games for Thursday, July 7 are Ancient Enemy and Killing Floor 2. Ancient Enemy is an RPG with card battler mechanics, whereas Killing Floor 2 is an over-the-top first-person shooter where players can team up with friends to mow down endless hordes of murderous, zombie-like enemies. Killing Floor 2 has cultivated a dedicated fanbase over the years, and so it should make a solid addition to anyone's Epic Games Store library.
