The Epic Games Store pattern makes it very easy for users to track. Every Thursday at 10 am CT, Epic Games releases a set of free games on the store and announces those replacing them on the following week. Now, Killing Floor 2 andAncient Enemyare free on the Epic Games Store.
These two games only share one commonality, as Killing Floor 2 is a brutal zombie shooter and Ancient Enemy is a Solitaire-like card battler. They are both set at the fall/after the fall of civilization though, adding a nice desperate (if uniquely so) tone to the overarching titles. They will be free until July 14 at 10 am CT, when they will then be replaced by Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap and a new game pack for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realm.

This lonesome and cursed adventure must explore Monster Land, facing off with lesser dragons, traps, and more, all while dealing with the curse. Wonder Boy’s curse will see them turned into a lizard, a mouse, a piranha, a lion, and more in a zany, yet grounded and hopeful adventure.
Wonder Boy has generally favorable reviews and is a sometimes-rare case of a Metascore and a User Score lining up perfectly. It has a 79 Metascore based on 19 critic reviews, and a 7.9 user score based on 167
