The Epic Games Store has announced the latest two free games it will be giving away in April. As is the case with every free giveaway, the games offered will be completely free through the Epic Games Store until 11:00 AM ET on the following Thursday, when another free game will become available instead.
As shown on the Epic Games Store, Obsidian Entertainment's award-winning RPG and Eidos-Montréal's 2014 reboot will be free between April 4 and April 11, 2024. Until then, Kyle Thompson's wholesome, hand-painted Metroidvania,, is the store's free title.
As with all Epic Games Store giveaways, once players have claimed each title, it is theirs to keep even after the free giveaway has ended.

It's worth noting that the version of being given away for free is the edition, which includes the base game and all add-on content, making it an even better deal. The edition also features a wealth of improvements over the 2019 version of the game, as it has been remastered with better graphics, improved performance, additional animations, higher-res environments, and now comes with an increased level cap, giving players even more ways to build their character from the seven branches of the skill tree.
