On Sunday, June 19, SpaceX reached an incredible milestone of becoming the first ever commercial launch company in history to complete three successful rocket launches within a period of 36 hours. The Elon Musk led company launched a two-stage Falcon rocket on Sunday from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida to create the record. The rocket was carrying a communication satellite for Globalstar, a USA-based satellite company. With this, SpaceX has become the fastest space aeronautics company to reach this feat.
According to a report by Space.com, the first launch took place on Friday, June 17, when SpaceX launched 53 Starlink satellites from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida which is controlled and operated by NASA. After that, on Saturday, June 18, the company launched another rocket carrying a radar satellite for the German military from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. Finally, in the early hours of Sunday, the Elon Musk led company completed its third launch to create the new record.

This achievement has come just seven years after the first successful landing of the Falcon 9 rocket, showcasing the fast progress of the company in terms of building reliable launch vehicles. The company has claimed to recover all the boosters used in the launch and they can be reused in future missions.
Elon Musk also tweeted congratulating the company on reaching the milestone. He said, “Congrats to SpaceX Falcon team for executing 3 flawless launches in 2 days”.
