All the gamers can rejoice. After a long anticipation, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3, has been announced for 2023. The E3 expo is one of the biggest gaming events and after three long years it will allow in-person attendance and fans will be going back to experience the event physically. As the pandemic seems to have subsided, the organizers will be welcoming back the fans. It is worth noting that many gaming expos have shifted online entirely and E3 remains one of the few which still lets people come and enjoy the games, consoles and be excited about the announcements. The official announcement was made by ReedPop, the company managing the expo. They have also shared details around the event and the most exciting thing among that is the duration of the event. After not hosting the event physically for years, now the organizers are making up for the lost time with a four-day event. E3 2023 will begin on June 13, 2023 and continue till June 16, 2023. Before that, June 11-12 will be kept for partnered digital events. The event will be hosted at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
A part of the event is being reserved for industry professionals where both game developers as well as corporate heads will get a chance to share ideas, network and conduct press conferences. The public portion of the event will open between June 15-16 where people will be able to visit the center and play hands-on demos. According to a press release, “a dedicated theater of content, open to ticket holders, will run during these days and offer deep-dive looks at highly anticipated titles”.
