Apple is testing USB-C on iPhone 15 models and can be forced to put USB-C on all the iPhones sold in Europe by 2024, according to rumors. Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 15 models next year (2023) and already there are several leaks and rumors circulating among people. Apple Track recently tweeted and informed about USB-C on iPhone 15 models. "Apple will be FORCED to put USB-C on all iPhones sold in Europe by Fall 2024. Rumors say Apple is already testing USB-C on iPhone 15 models coming next year...," the tweet read.
Coming to the other features, iPhone 15 may get or may not, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman in his edition of Power On newsletter had said that he does not expect Touch ID to return with the iPhone 15 or other flagship models in the coming future. Gurman, however, added that a iPhone SE model with Touch ID is still a possibility. In the past have suggested that Apple may reintroduce Touch ID on iPhones.
“Over the past few years, there have been discussions within Apple about bringing Touch ID back to high-end iPhones. The company has tested in-screen Touch ID and even contemplated putting it on the power button. At this point, I believe Face ID is here to stay and Touch ID won't be returning to flagship iPhones—at least anytime in the foreseeable future", Gurman writes in the newsletter. It can be known that Apple removed TouchID with iPhone X.
Apple may also kill the Pro Max model with the launch of the iPhone 15 series. Apple launched the iPhone 14 series on September 7, including the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Till now, the gap between the Apple Pro phones and Pro Max phones was not too big in terms of specs and pricing. Now, Apple is looking to create a huge gap between them starting with a rebranding.
