The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is one of the best-selling games ever, having sold more than 30,000 copies as of 2017. That puts it roughly in the same range as Diablo 3, the reboot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and, somewhat surprisingly, the 2016 puzzle-platformer Human: Fall Flat.

It certainly impressed a fair number of users on the Skyrim subreddit, with many giving the expected playful encouragements for testrazgovor to make their girlfriend their wife. One commenter even added that they actually did marry a girlfriend who gave them a Skyrim cake, proving that there is at least some precedent for the common joke becoming a reality.
