The results are in for Elden Ring, and after breaking wishlist, sales, and player number records, it is clear the game has lived up to much of its hype. With a new take on FromSoftware gameplay, a massive open world full of discoveries, and an incredibly deep and interesting story, Elden Ring has quickly been hailed as a future Game of the Year nominee.
However, though it is more open-ended than previous FromSoftware titles, that does not mean that the game is easy by any means. Between incredibly challenging story bosses such as Margit, The Fell Omen as well as optional bosses like Elden Ring's Crucible Knight, it is chock-full of insane challenges for players to tackle.

In this game, where the Elden Ring goats can kill players, even some of the more average enemies encountered in the open world can be a challenge. One of the more unique and challenging of these enemies is certainly the maneuverable flamethrowers. Dubbed head tanks by some due to their being shaped like a humanoid head, the vehicles are quite durable and hard to take down unless a player knows their weaknesses.
Luckily for players, Reddit user Quickmemer has discovered a way to make these annoyingly tanky enemies rather trivial as long as players can find a vantage point. This is because Quickmemer discovered the tanks can be critically struck if the player commences a falling attack onto them. The critical strike will one-shot the tanks, making for a much easier battle than trying to fight them hand-to-hand. Much like an incredibly powerful Elden Ring katana, being able to critically strike the head tanks allows for much cleaner kills where players can avoid damage.
