Upon reaching Stargazers' Ruins in Elden Ring, players will find a staircase leading underground, but it cannot be entered until a specific task is completed. And to open the seal, players will need to do something for the lone jellyfish monster hanging nearby the staircase.

When players get close to the jellyfish, it'll mention something about losing its sister. It just so happens that the Jellyfish Spirit Ashes that players can summon are the sister of this jellyfish, and essentially, players need to reunite the siblings for the seal to be broken. Once players ring their summoning bell, the jellyfish siblings will fade away together to see the stars in the sky. It's a rather poignant moment for such a brief scene.
After the jellyfish disappear, a prompt will appear on the screen notifying players that the seal has been broken. They can now enter the underground area to receive a treasure from a chest.
If players accidentally kill the jellyfish hanging out at the Stargazers' Ruins, just head to a Site of Lost Grace and rest. They jellyfish will respawn at the same location.
